World of Concrete? There’s really a trade show called World of Concrete? Yes, there is, and this year was a blast! Not to mention, another great success for Curecrete.
Since the early 1990s, Curecrete has been exhibiting at WOC, and each year the show gets bigger and more influential. As the leader in the concrete densification industry, it’s important for Curecrete to educate those familiar and unfamiliar with concrete densification that we are still innovating and pushing the industry forward.
This year, “more than 1,500 exhibiting companies and 60,000 registered industry professionals” descended on Las Vegas to walk more than 700,000 square feet of exhibit space (courtesy of World of Concrete 2017 Results). Curecrete was proud to be one of those exhibiting companies, showcasing our flagship products, the Ashford Formula™ and RetroPlate® System, as well our complete line of supporting products.
One way Curecrete continues to educate and lead the industry is by donating product to the CIM Silent Auction which is “a major source of funding for the [Concrete Industry Management] program” and has raised over $6 million in the past 11 years at World of Concrete.
Concrete Industry Management (CIM) is a business program that has been developed specifically for the concrete industry to provide students with a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Concrete Industry Management. The program gives students entering the concrete work force industry experience early in their careers.
The highlight of the week in Vegas was the KickStart™ Kick-Off Party on the opening night of the show! Curecrete invited current and prospective customers to attend a fun and exciting evening of fun, food and an introduction to one of the most innovative products to hit the concrete densification industry in years – KickStart Clarity Enhancer! A short presentation given by Brak Carman, our Supporting Products Specialist, and Jim Walton, our Technical Director for RetroPlate acquainted all those in attendance with the game-changing qualities of KickStart. And to top it all off, Curecrete gave away some of the coolest prizes – YETI cooler, anyone?
